Noble crowned Miss La
Crosse/Oktoberfest

A crowd of more
than 500 watched
Saturday night
as Mandy Nogle
was crowned the
2007 Miss La
Crosse/
Oktoberfest at
the Viterbo
University Fine
Arts Center.
Nogle, the
daughter of
Nanette and Tom
Nogle, performed
ballet dance to
“I Can Only
Imagine.” Her
platform is the
importance of
reading, and she
is a student at
UW-La Crosse.
As part of her
duties as Miss
La
Crosse/Oktoberfest,
Nogle will visit
area schools,
nursing homes
and community
events. She will
also compete at
the Miss
Wisconsin
pageant in June.
Kristina Gross
was first
runner-up, and
Abby Rupnow was
second
runner-up.
Gross performed
dance to
“Feeling Good.”
Her platform is
Miss La
Crosse /
Oktoberfest
Mandy
Nogle
diabetes
awareness, and
she is a student
at Viterbo
University.
Rupnow sang
“Somewhere
Medley.” Her
platform is
American Cancer
Society’s Relay
For Life, and
she is a student
at UW-La Crosse.
